UK Chapter Conference 2024 Organising Committee

Do you want to help shape the next UK Chapter conference?  We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the Organising Committee and support the development and planning of the 2024 conference.  There are several focused roles on the committee, as well as general supporters who can use their professional network to attract speakers.  Having experience in supporting a major conference isn't necessary, though strong abilities in planning, organising, communicating and networking are ideal.  You must be an IAM member (any grade) to join the committee.

Time requirements

We have a weekly meeting, lasting up to an hour to discuss and progress the planning and preparation for the conference, and ideally, you will be available to attend the conference.

General Criteria

To undertake this role, you must be:

An IAM Member (Associate, Member or Fellow)
Able to give up to an hour of your time most weeks between now and the conference (virtual meetings)

And have some or all of the following:

Be a good team player and communicator.
Be able to identify and research potential conference topics.
Be able to use your professional network to identify and suggest suitable high-quality speakers
