Join us on 14 and 15 November 2023 for this year's IAM UK Chapter Conference, held in Manchester at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate hotel. 

Our theme this year is “Addressing the Practicalities of Implementing and Embedding Asset Management”  

So many organizations are ‘on the journey’ to great asset management, though not all find that journey easy!  Enhancing the way an organization works, changing the roles and behaviors of people within them, and implementing a demonstrable management system to achieve recognition of both is never easy.  

That said, there are good examples of organizations that have already successfully made that journey, some who have learned the hard way but got there in the end, and others who are looking for guidance on the route their journey will follow. 

The 2023 UK Chapter Conference will explore the practicalities of that journey, share learning from those who have achieved it and those on the journey, and answer the questions of those finding it a struggle or just about to start. 

IAM UK Chapter Excellence Awards 2023

Join us for the first IAM UK Chapter Excellence Awards 2023.  The awards acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding work done by asset management professionals, organizations and teams across the UK.

The IAM UK Chapter Excellence Awards 2023 are an opportunity for you to showcase the excellent work you're doing, wherever you are and whichever industry sector you operate. By submitting your leading examples of good asset management practice, it's a chance for you to celebrate successes and share them with a wider network across the professional landscape.

Conference Tickets  

Conference tickets can be booked under the pricing tab above.  A whole event ticket will give you access to the conference on both days as well as the dinner. 

This year we are offering a corporate ticket for five delegates to attend the conference and dinner for £2000 +VAT.  To take advantage of this ticket offer, you must be a corporate member of the IAM. You can join here or contact office@theiam.org.  

What is Included in my Conference Ticket?   

The conference will run over two days, during which you’ll hear from keynote speakers at the start and end of each day and get the chance to choose sessions from two streams of presentations and workshops during the day. 

During the evening of day one of the conference, there will be a drinks reception followed by dinner, where we’ll be hosting the first IAM UK Chapter Excellence Awards. This is a great opportunity for you to celebrate with conference delegates and colleagues the advances in asset management made by individuals and organizations. More information on how to submit an award entry will be announced soon.   

Who is it suitable for?  

This event has something for everyone engaged with asset management.  Whether you’re new to the discipline, developing your career, or at the top of your game.   

You’ll gain insights into and hear first-hand experiences of those that are on or have achieved a successful asset management journey.  You can either listen to challenging and success stories or join interactive workshops to discuss and explore the blockers and top tips to a successful journey. 

We attract speakers and delegates from a wide range of asset-focused sectors, covering industry and utilities, real estate and housing, transport, and many others.

NxtGen Poster Session

Are you newer to asset management with less than five years in asset management focused roles?

Would you like to attend IAM UK Chapter Conference and have a short speaking slot?

As part of the IAM UK Chapter Conference, we have a focused conference slot for NxtGen presenters to share their work and experiences and we are asking for submissions from the UK NxtGen community to present a single slide about an asset management related project or activity you have or are involved in.

The presentations will be strictly 3 minutes long.

A panel will select the submissions to be presented at the conference. If you are selected to present you will be able to attend the whole conference for the special rate of £300 (members) and £450 (non-members) which is a significant discount compared to the full price of £500 (members) and £650 (non-members).

Please submit your single slide presentation, a photo headshot, biography, the title of your presentation, and a short description of your presentation to events@theIAM.org by 15 September 2023.
