  • IAM USA NxtGen: Technological Advancement Create Cultural Change Webinar

    Tue, 30 Jul 2019 10:00:00 GMTTue, 30 Jul 2019 11:00:00 GMT

    Join us for this new webinar as Mr. Robert Henderson from Bentley Canada discusses how advancements in technology shape the culture of an organization.

    Speaker name: Robert Henderson, Bentley Canada, Transportation Solution Specialist – Asset Performance

    Technological Advancements have had a significant impact on the way organizations handle their current day to day operations.   Implementing new technology will continue to shape an organizations culture and, in some cases, new technology can be a culture shock, creating challenges during implementation. Advancing infrastructure project delivery and asset performance by “Going Digital” will require some form of implementation. A significant opportunity of going digital is to leverage digital twin models created within project delivery to become the performance digital twin or “digital DNA,” for infrastructure asset performance during operations and maintenance; this opportunity can also be a significant undertaking for an organization.

    Topics discussed include:

    • The affected groups: Technology, Process, and People
    • The main obstacles organizations face on the journey to advancement
    • The challenges at each step of a technology implementation

    Mr. Henderson has 14 years of consulting experience covering software solutions associated with Design through to Operations; which included technology implementations; Rail Systems and Electrical designs; and Transportation Asset Performance. He is a Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) with the Association for Asset Management Professionals (AMP), and a Certified Electrical Engineering Technician (C.Tech.) with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT).  He also has memberships with the American Railway Engineering Maintenance-of-way Association (AREMA), and the American Public Transportation Association (APTA).

    Registering for the Webinar

    We kindly ask you to ensure you can log into the webinar portal in advance of the event so that if you have any queries, then these can be resolved well in advance.  Thank you.

    Thu, 16 May 2019 16:00:00 GMTThu, 16 May 2019 16:00:00 GMT

    How to apply the ISO 5500 standard? Several organisations in the Netherlands have implemented ISO 55000 or have adopted the philosophy. Experiences form various industries and viewpoints will be shared and debated. This themed session is for people who are new to this standard and for experienced ISO 55000 practitioners

    Thu, 16 May 2019 11:00:00 GMTThu, 16 May 2019 13:00:00 GMT

    De ISO 55000 normserie voor assetmanagement leeft! De in 2014 gepubliceerde internationale standaard wordt door steeds meer organisaties gebruikt en ook de normserie zelf is volop in ontwikkeling.

    Tijdens deze themabijeenkomst:
    * Vertellen organisaties wat zij met het implementeren van assetmanagement en ISO 55001 hebben bereikt en hoe ze dat hebben gedaan;
    * Gaan we in op overwegingen om wel of niet te certificeren en hebben we praktijkcases van het certificeringsproces zelf;
    * Geven experts inzicht in de diverse bestaande en verwachte assetmanagementgerelateerde standaarden, waaronder de vernieuwde ISO 55002, die een uitgebreide toelichting geeft op ISO 55001.

    IAM NL organiseert deze sessie met NEN en World Class Maintenance.
